Darabont wrote and directed two of my favorite movies, "The Shawshank Redemption" (I have a poster of Red and Andy Dufresne on the wall of my upstairs office), and "The Green Mile." He went off the rails with 2001's "The Majestic" and didn't direct again for six years.
