"If all the world's a stage and all the people merely players, who in bloody hell hired the director?" -- Charles L Grant http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQUxw9aUVik To: scifinoir2@yahoogroups.com From: hellomahog...@gmail.com Date: Mon, 31 Aug 2009 04:34:57 -0700 Subject: [scifinoir2] movie review: Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles Movie review: Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles This movie is a continuation of the original series. Rick Hunter has sent the expeditionary forces to save the Earth from the Envid, and protect the Protoculture. They bring with them a new kind of technology that enhances their Robotech ships. This movie is done by the producers and artist fanboys that attempt to capture the feel of the original series. Pros: Many of the original voice actors including a Mark Hamil character. Fairly decent plot line. Good artwork. Cons: They may have tried too hard to make the movie into a series by leaving some holes in the plot. Overall its pretty darn good. 3.5 stars out of 5 No nudity, but apparently guys will think about banging robots in the future. Rated NR released in 2006 _________________________________________________________________ With Windows Live, you can organize, edit, and share your photos. http://www.windowslive.com/Desktop/PhotoGallery
