Mr Worf, sounds about right. I bought it on DVD when it came out. Watched it
once, enjoyed it, hadn't even thought about t again until reading this.

Movie review: Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles

This movie is a continuation of the original series. Rick Hunter has sent the
expeditionary forces to save the Earth from the Envid, and protect the
Protoculture. They bring with them a new kind of technology that enhances their
Robotech ships. This movie is done by the producers and artist fanboys that
attempt to capture the feel of the original series.

Pros: Many of the original voice actors including a Mark Hamil character.
Fairly decent plot line. Good artwork.

Cons: They may have tried too hard to make the movie into a series by leaving
some holes in the plot.

Overall its pretty darn good. 3.5 stars out of 5

No nudity, but apparently guys will think about banging robots in the future.

Rated NR released in 2006
