Another French action movie that surprised me was The Nest.

 http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0280990/

It's a story about a group of cops transporting a mob kingpin to stand trial
but they get doublecrossed and end up fighting for their lives. They take
refuge in an industrial complex and dig in to wait for help. Unfortunately the
warehouse was being robbed and that leads to a few problems. The cops, the
warehouse crew and the thieves team up to fight off the hordes of thugs sent to
rescue the mobster. It plays a lot like Assault on Precinct 13 in some ways but
with some nice tweaks on the formula.
