The thing is, regardless of how THIS movie fares, I've walked out of various such movies saying I'd like to see what happens next, how they find resources to survive, rebuild, repopulate, etc. Does anyone remember "Threads" -- a PBS mini-series in the 80's that follows humanity 15 or so years after a nuclear disaster? I believe it was a British production. It was excellent and I've searched in vain to find it on video or DVD.
