And Jay and I will be joining the cast of Jersey Shore as a new character called 'The Awkward Situation,'" he laughed. But leave it to Conan to zing NBC the best way he knows how. In what he calls the most "appealing proposition" he's heard so far, O'Brien jabs: "NBC is going to throw me and Jay in a pit with sharpened sticks. The one who crawls out alive gets to leave NBC."
