Can't see a downside to it, pal. Not only is it good for the sake of a series (not letting things drag on too long and become utterly disjointed a la "Lost"), it also costs less. And that should speak to an industry tossing up reality crap right and left, screaming that they "can't afford original fiction programming".

It clocked in a 3.9/6, down a little more than 9 percent from its previous week. That's mostly on par with how the show did last season when it earned a 4.0/6 in average overnights. That means "Heroes" lost more than 38 percent of its lead-in audience from "Chuck." That's also the same percentage "Heroes" is now off of its already low-rated premiere, and is now more than 22 percent off its season average. This is the second week "Heroes" is at 9 p.m., averaging a 2.7/4 in the timeslot, 23 percent off its 8 p.m. average of 3.5/5.
