The list is screwy, but it's Entertainment Weekly, so no surprise there.

Tony Stark isn't the only cheat. Elmo was created in 1985. It is an odd list 
all-around. They get Cosmo Kramer and Morpheus right. The Cigarette Smoking guy 
is a more memorable character than either Mulder or Scully. Cuba Gooding, Jr's 
Rod Tidwell should trump Cruise's Jerry McGuire. I would take Voldemort over 
Harry Potter. They get John Locke right but why is Hancock on this list?
