Apps of the Founding Fathers
Presidents, congressmen, and world leaders are connected by technology
through iPads, cell phones, and various other devices. But it wasn't always
like this. Our Founding Fathers had to do things the hard way. Messages were
delivered by hand. Much of the continent wasn't mapped or explored. And you
actually had to "know" arithmetic.

With the popularity of smart phones and E-Readers, imagine what apps some of
the most famous individuals behind the American Revolution might have used
on a regular basis: [image: iTopo

In the days before Google Maps, leading troops into battle relying on a
hand-drawn map crafted by a surveyor was probably not an easy task. [image:

Jefferson was deeply interested in learning different languages including
Latin, Greek, Spanish, Italian, French, and Native American dialects.
Jefferson likely would not have been without an E-Reader, and Language
Masters is designed to teach various languages. [image:

Franklin was many things in his lifetime: printer, author, satirist,
politician, scientist, and inventor. With so much going on, he would have
loved Hootsuite, an app that organizes and keeps up with Twitter, Facebook,
LinkedIn, and various social media platforms. [image:
