I really enjoyed The Historian too...I actually listened to it on audio during 
a LONG road trip...it kept my interest!

Thanks. I just finished "The Historian". I thought that it would be
a candidate, but I finished it yesterday. I guess that it must be
good. I read over 300 pages in one day in order to finish it.
