Perhaps we should consider adding a link to the Scipy-lecture
notes<http://scipy-lectures.github.io/>in the docs? Or would this be
a bit out of our scope. Then people new to python will be able to find them
great notes via
the 'Getting Started/Tutorials' section. Though it might be unnecessary.
