My thought is inline with yours, just repeat the experiments. I just wanted to
make sure I didn't spend that time only to see later that I didn't need to.

Basically there is not a function to do that.
If you are familiar with the libsvm format and sklearn, it might
be possible to do by hand,
but non-trivial.
I guess your motivation is that training takes too long to repeat
an experiment?
It would probably take longer to code the loader ;)
