Thank you Andreas. That's what I thought, which is why I asked this
question in
StackOverflow<http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17710947/pip-pulling-updates-from-remote-git-repository>,
but apparently --upgrade does not work with git repositories. I think
uninstalling and re-installing again will fix it.
