There is a new updated prerelease of 1.66 in CVS and
http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/scite.zip Source
http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/wscite.zip Windows executable
This includes a new, more ambitious Ruby lexer from Eric Promislow
(and others?) of ActiveState. It recognizes much more Ruby syntax,
including here-documents, %-quoted-strings, symbols, @-, @@-, and
$-prefixed variables, pod-like sections, etc. It has more than 32
styles so needs 6 bits of styling information so applications that use
it should call SCI_SETSTYLEBITS(6). In the future, a call will be
available to find out how many style bits are needed by a lexer.
LexGen.py has been updated by Trent Mick of ActiveState to work
correctly on Unix, producing correct line ends depending on the
environment.
The release will probably be in around 24 hours time.
