This is a SciTE (application) rather than Scintilla (component)

Scintilla.
The behaviour is as intended. Monospace font mode is a temporary
lightweight visual mode that is not supposed to affect other features.
I really want to edit in Monospace, and I want to copy & paste into
Word also in monospace.
I want a WYSIWYG RTF representation. What you are telling me is that it
is not supported, so I'd need to do a screen capture. That's just too bad.
