To do this, you would need to parse the file so that you can determine what variable is which object and therefore has which methods/properties.
This isnt the role of Scintilla, it's the editor's job. If you find a way of doing it easily, let me know as I want it for a Jscript editor I have written ... I havent got around to parsing it all yet. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of joe robe Sent: 28 August 2005 15:04 To: [email protected] Subject: [scintilla] Auto completion of javascript Hi, Its really interesting, but there seems to be ABSOLUTELY NO jscript editor which has features like the good VS.net for c#, C++ etc ! I found scintilla, and at least we have folding thats a GREAT releive, thanks to the authors ! I dont see auto completion, is there anything I have to switch on for this ? Also, more important, is there a way to add my own jscript objects and methods to get auto completion for them? Its still a total pain to code in jscript as one always has to look up available objects and their properties ! Thanks for any help on this Joe __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
