Summary: SCI_REPLACETARGET changes target on replace

Initial Comment:
Both SCI_REPLACETARGET and SCI_REPLACETARGETRE update
the target range to cover the replacement text. If this
is correct behavior then this non obvious side affect
must be documented so that it can be depended on.

Hmmm... "non obvious side affect" - what else should (could) it do?

The chars the target used to refer to have now been replaced. NOT updating the target to reflect the new state of the world (restoring "consistency" in the data structure implementing the "target" functionality) would seem to me to be the "non obvious" thing to [not] do. ;)
