Greatings,

Thank you Neil Hodgson and your large community for providing the world with one of the best source code editors, by far when we was searching for a source code editor control for our html visual editor, we tried all commericial available code editors, each one lacks some features so it comes to Scintilla the free and very customizable editor. We found it is missing a large commuinty those like us were looking for ready to go plug and play control without the experiance in low level programming and configurations and time consuming, so while working on our project we developed as far until now an ActiveX control wrapper for Scintilla Editawy.ocx that can be inserted to any ActiveX supported language like VB6, VC++, Delphi, etc. We released a beta version available on our site for download, and a VB 6 source code project included.

The Editawy Scintilla ActiveX Control Wrapper supports every single function supported by Scintilla and some are included in Property format for easy settings in the property browser, lots of builtin functions for searching, replacing, styling, folding included, Built in Find Form, Replace form, Goto Line form that can be called with one line like Editawy1.FindBox, Built in functions for runing and capturing the output of external programs that can be used for compling and building, Easy to edit and configure style configuration file in windows .ini format with builtin functions for manging, reading, writings styles to .ini files.

The Editawy ActiveX control also support all events supported by Scintilla and all the normal Events for Keyboard and mouse independent, Supports Multiple documents MDI and Multiple views, Printing with scaling and margins and print previews.
