   It contains the SimSun18030 font, support for the ...L APIs which
supplement the ...A (ANSI) and ...W (Wide) APIs, and other library
support .

   The GB-18030 download is for CJK Extensions A and B: U+3400 to
U+4DBF and U+20000 to U+2A6DF. The SimSun18030 font only includes
Extension A, not Extension B, so even if Scintilla attempted to add
some support for GB-18030, it may not be visible.
