This is a bit of a stab in the dark, but I'm interested in using Scintilla from Mono running on Linux. I've been fiddling around a bit with trying to load the scintilla libraries via GtkScintilla2, but so far have been unsuccessful and I can't find any documentation on how to do it. I also don't have a decent tool to analyze the library, so I'm a bit lost.
If anyone has any code on how to load a Scintilla control as a GtkWidget from a shared library, I'd appreciate any tips, pointers etc. I was hoping to do it in the same way you can do it via unmanaged code on windows, but so far no luck!
Even better than doing it myself, I see Scintilla-sharp seems to be underway which looks promising - if the author of that is around, do you have a binary version I could use in my program?
