Attached is a patch that transforms line ends when text is copied to the
clipboard for gtk 2 on win32, as well as gtk 1. I pulled the
transformation out into a common block to be shared by both versions.
I'm happy with this patch but SourceForge CVS hasn't worked for me
for more than 24 hours (the support site acknowledges its down) so it
hasn't been committed yet.
From the sourceforge.net status page just now:
"On 2006-03-30 the developer CVS server had a hardware issue that
required us to take the service offline. We are actively working on
this problem and hope to have it back up soon. There is not a current
estimate for the duration of this outage, but when we get one, it will
be posted on the site status page (this page). We currently expect
this outage to last 48 hours, at minimum."
An earlier form of this message showed up on Thursday, and this latest
incarnation of the CVS service status is from midday Sunday. Just
below this, they mention that "Due to support staffing, support
response may be degraded from 2006-03-17 through 2006-04-02." and that
"The Service Operations team has an open position for a Level 2
Support Technician"... and give a link to their "Careers page". ;)
