Summary: SciTE crashes randomly
Initial Comment:
SciTE gives me a Segmentation Fault randomly.
I've attached the strace output for "open scite, click
on File->open" and then crash.
It makes little sense to submit a bug report that does not include
basic info like your runtime environment (OS type and version) and the
version of SciTE you were running when you saw the crash. While one
can see that you were running on Linux by examining the trace, that
still doesn't tell a whole lot.
i guess that the post concerns the unix version
In particular, are you using the latest release - 1.69?
btw, there was mentioning of a fix in v 1.69 with regards to a crash
related to fonts, so another question is: does the crash still occur
when running 1.69 (so far 1.69 looks ok here)
