On GTK+, it is easy to perform a drag onto the same place by
clicking inside a selection which makes the file edited and adds to
the undo stack. Its also hard to perform a deselection with the mouse
when a large area is selected particularly if the whole buffer is
selected. This has become more of a problem since the default drag
option on GTK+ was changed to move. I'm thinking of trying to detect
moves to the same location so they can be ignored and to wait for a
significant amount of drag movement (say 3 pixels) before initiating a
platform drag operation. This may require changes to other platform
layers.
