I'm trying to implement a new version of the TeX lexer in which I would like to 
realize two new ideas:

i) folding TeX headers in two modes (Cascaded and Plain);
ii) add user defined header types.

In point i), mode Cascaded means folding TeX headers according to its 
syntactical depth, e.g. when \chapter is folded all \sections within it will 
also collapse etc., and mode Plain means treating all headers as being equal, 
e.g. folding \chapter only to the beginning \section next to it, etc. This is 
quite easy to implement but the problem is how to take control over which mode
