hope scintilla could support column selecting mode and hex editing mode
natively just like UltraEdit does
Have you tried holding down an Alt key while dragging the cursor with
your mouse? This will do "column selecting" - although this may not
be as useful as you want it to be when using variable-width fonts. ;)
