Dear community, I'd like to report a minor visual problem that was found with Notepad2, and can be reproduced with Scintilla / SciTE 1.74 on Windows XP:
1. Specify a foreground color for the text selection (i.e. set selection.fore=#ff0000 in SciTEGlobal.properties). 2. Insert several lines of text into a new SciTE document, and place the cursor at the beginning. 3. Press Shift+Right Arrow repeatedly to select the characters one by one. The foreground color specified in step 1 only appears if more than one character in a line is selected. The same behaviour appears if the selection is expanded to the subsequent lines. 4. If alpha-blending for the text selection is disabled, the behaviour outlined above also affects the background color of the selection, i.e. it is not displayed if the selection includes only the starting character of a line. I'm sorry it was no success for me to dive into this one, so far.
