Summary: Highlighting problem with $...$

Initial Comment:
Hi,

let's save you have a LaTeX file with the following two lines:

$a*x=b$
(a*x=b)

If you want to highlight only "a*x=b", move the cursor in the first line
between 'b$'. Press shift, hold shift all the time, press HOME, release HOME
and press RIGHT. The cursor is in front of the 'a', but the '$' is still
highlighted.

If you do that with the second line, it works. So, it seems it's a problem with
the '$' with defines the math mode.

greets
  Ingo
