Actually, me too, that's why I wasn't in a hurry to finish my WinBuffers
stuff...
A clean and well-working "Z-order" switcher like the one in VS would
be *wonderful*, as I very often want to just switch back and forth
between the last TWO buffers
It seems to be the most frequent user case for this z-order stuff, so
perhaps it (the latest, buggy implementation) went too complictated for
a real use (didn't tested it, actually).
I guess we could keep the classical/current behaviour (cycle through
buffers in order) with the current shortcut keys, and assign a similar
shortcut key to the "go back to previous buffer" feature.
It should be easy to implement.
Note: I still think a split window would be useful for SciTE. Neil
advocates the use of two instances of SciTE, but I find this less
convenient, with problems of focus and similar issues. And this is
problematic if you want two separate views on the same buffer...
