I'm trying to use SciTE to develop MSP430 programs. SciTE appears to work fine but I'm having a problem with Make. Make executes the commands in the makefile OK but crashes before it can return to SciTE. Make can display its version and help text without error. However, if Make executes a command, even one as simple as "Dir main.c", I get the error message "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down". SciTE can execute other programs successfully. I suspect I new a new version of make. Any suggestions?
