I've trying to compile scite under Linux x86_64 (RHEL 2) for both GTK1 and GTK2, but failed. scintilla compilation is OK.
GTK+ 1.x is no longer supported by SciTE. At least GTK+ 2.4 is now required for the file chooser dialog. Some APIs may be used from later versions of GTK+ but they should be reasonably easy to #ifdef out if needed.
