SourceForge.net was a nice place to be a few weeks ago. Unfortunately VA
Linux (the owner of SourceForge) changed its policy and SourceForge may
not be as nice as it used to be. See [1] for more infos.

SourceForge may not be a middle or long term solution.

David, I ask you, please, to continue the distribution of the source
files in .tar.gz form from the linuxnet.com web site and not just the
compiled binaries (but maybe you already mean .tar.gz files when you
speak of "binaries"). This is convenient to have a real release with a
release number (and not just a CVS snapshot) and it is also a backup in
case of...

Again the problems come from (abusive) licencing terms.
