My deepest apologies but it seems that Gemplus has dropped linux support on the RAD IIII. My version (3.0 b37) states on the box "Compliant with: Windows 95/98/NT4/NT2000, Linux RedHat 6.2, Solaris 8 Run on: JDK 1.2.2". I just checked the developers site and it does not mention linux or Solaris any more :(. This might not work if the new release is not full-java. Version 3.0 b37 was full Java as I have been able to run it on Mac OS X and Debian.
