Sean,
I don't know if you've had a response yet so I'll give it a try...
The first issue I think *is* your smartcard(s). I'm not the authority
but I don't think the PAM or Musclecard software works with a GemClub
Memo cards. AFAIK, the Musclecard software works with GemXpresso 211 PK
and Cyberflex 32k cards only at this time. Read the PAM docs to see
what cards are supported by the software.
As for the ACF30 issues, do you have other cards to test with?
Potential sources of your problems I see include:
- broken reader hardware
- hardware incorrectly installed
- buggy reader driver
- incorrectly installed reader driver
- hardware/software incompatibility between ACF30 and your test card(s)
I've never used either of those readers or the GemClub Memo cards so I'm
just trying to point out places you can look further.
I suggest you work towards getting a working config say with the Gemplus
reader and then use that to debug the ACF30 setup. Sounds like you need
to get new cards too. Read the docs on the specific software you're
trying to get working to see what cards are supported.
good luck,
-joe
