Hello, Many of you might know that as of about 2 versions ago you can compile pcsc-lite so that it does not use TCP sockets. It uses Unix Domain Sockets with the flag set in the Makefile. My next step is to completely get rid of registering with the portmapper. I would still like to use the Sun RPC's but with Unix domain sockets and no portmapper. Does anyone have any experience in doing this ? I think NFS no longer uses portmapper but I'm not sure.
