One of the recent Autoweeks has stated that the next generation Cobra WILL be based on the DEW-98 (Lincoln LS) platform. It's looking more and more like we'll get a world-class chassis, folks. My only concern is, everyone seems to think that the new Mustang/Cobra will be out in 2002. That's approximately two years of development time away from now, which doesn't seem like a lot. Of course it all depends on the actual release date and whether it will ship as a 2002 or 2003 model.
