I've been reading this thread and I remembered when I cleaned out my trunk
last week that there was a solid white plastic bag with some writing on it
in the trunk. I just went out there opened my trunk, pulled that bag out
and it is my anti-theft locking lug nuts. So something is strange here. I
bought my Cobra in July and the locking lug nuts have been in the trunk all
this time. So my '99 came with them. That is all I can tell ya. The
writing on the bag is in two languages. The one in English says: "Dealer
Installation Instructions For Anti-Theft Locking Lug Nuts:" and then gives
instructions for installation. Hope this helps.
P. S. The plastic bag also has a registration card in it to send in to
"McGard."
