I just ordered Dunlop SP9000's in 245/45 17 for my 97 from tire rack
(online) for $167 ea.  Even though their print ad lists them at around 200.
I'll let you know how they work out once I get a few miles on them.

Wow, looks like from all the responses around here that the Nitto's are
an excellent tire.  So is the BFG Comp T/A basically a ripoff or
something, considering they are more expensive, with less performance?
And the Nittos have a better tread rating too!

Anyone compare them to Dunlop SP9000?  I was considering those too, but
the $230 price tag turned me off <G>.
