I couldn't use the ubuntu installed python as they don't ship the windows
installer stubs needed so I had to build from source.
I simply installed "python-libxml2" via apt, and then added the Windows installer templates to the corresponding directories. There
used to be a page on the Wiki, where you could download the "*.exe" files directly (ReleaseHowto?). It also contained the info about
where to put those files...
