We are discovering that having both gdc and ldc installed on a Debian or related system causes problems to some of the crucial gdc tests. Current hypothesis is that Debian gdc packaging needs a serious update. I believe the right person is on the job, but this will of course only appear on Debian Sid. It could be years before it gets to a Debian release. Without the ldc package installed gdc is fine. > swig > gcj-5-jdk > texlive-binaries This is just 0.001% of the TexLive actually needed to have a viable installation. It may be enough for the tests to pass, but I would anticipate not. > python-dev > gettext-base rpm flex > pastebinit > > A complete list of packages, to feed into > dpkg --set-selections > is at > http://paste.ubuntu.com/14478192/ > > Thank you. > _______________________________________________ > Scons-dev mailing list > Scons-dev@scons.org > https://pairlist2.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/scons-dev -- Russel. ============================================================================= Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:russel.win...@ekiga.net 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: rus...@winder.org.uk London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder
