I would guess most customers are using Make or Autotools, with some using CMake (with Make or Ninja), and a very few using Meson. In my book Meson should replace all Autotools and CMake usage, but since when did technical merit ever matter. :-) I recollect Conan is a Python implemented system, assuming they have an API, it should be easy to connect SCons in – easier than connecting Dub for D builds. I can certainly volunteer some time on this but not really till September. […] > Git fetch is what you want. However I don't get why we keep binding > bitbucket to hg and github to git. Thus there is the self fulfilling prophesy that GitHub is the place to be because GitHub is the place to be for tooling. It is very disappointing that Atlassian seems to be using the public BitBucket solely to sell BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, rather than trying to compete with GitHub. I am a reconstituted Mercurial fan, but if SCons switches Mercurial → Git *and* moves to GitHub, I can vote for that. I see no point in switching to Git and staying on BitBucket. -- Russel. ============================================================================= Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:russel.win...@ekiga.net 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: rus...@winder.org.uk London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder
