try the following... (I wondered why I couldn't find traceroute, I was
begining to think it had been renamed)
as root do:
ln /usr/sbin/traceroute /usr/bin/traceroute -s
or if you are as lazy a typer as I am :-
ln /usr/sbin/traceroute /usr/bin/trace -s

i want to traceroute as non-r00t) ...
