Realize that this optical mouse isn't like the current generation of optical
mice.  It requires a special mouse pad with a grid of grey and blue lines.
Without the mat, the mouse is useless.

It also isn't a serial or a PS/2 mouse.  Sun had some proprietary connector
with it.
