As far as I can see from the website, it's on the end of an ADSL connection, so 512k down, 256k up, contention ratio depends on which service he's gone for. I've heard good things about http://www.gradwell.com/. I use Caladan (http://www.caladan.net/) for various hosting bits and pieces (though not web ... I have my own colo server for that) and they are always very helpful and accomodating.
