Talking of all things PGP ... I'm arranging a keysinging for the next meeting. Could people that want to participate please mail me their PGP[1] public key? I will collect them all and print out copies of the fingerprints for verification on the evening.
I'll run it the way we've done so at EdLUG in the past ... bring along umpteen copies of the collated key fingerprints, one for each person participating. I'll read out the fingerprint of each key and the person owning that key can verify that it's correct. Once we've done that, folks can arrange to sign each other's keys. You will need to bring your own copy of your pgp fingerprint[2] and some photographic id. Have a look at http://www.debian.org/events/keysigning for more information. [1] Or GnuPG ... they're (mostly) the same thing. [2] In GnuPG it can be printed out by: gpg --fingerprint <key_id> | lpr -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.wossname.org.uk/~mathie/ -------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.lug.org.uk http://www.linuxportal.co.uk http://www.linuxjob.co.uk http://www.linuxshop.co.uk --------------------------------------------------------------------
