mutt is the one true mail reader!  And it appears to work with mailto
(though I only tested it quickly just now there).  It does MIME very
well, it does PGP/MIME perfectly, it does threading, the IMAP support is
pretty good, it does maildirs and if I can figure out the configuration
option, I think it'll even wash my dishes. :)
