We have had issues with IBM drives, the older ones are tip top, either
fail in the first 10 minutes, or last for ages, the newer ones that ibm
are bundling, are absolutely crap, they now have a warning saying they
should not be used for more than 16 hours a day (soemthing like bt's
anytime package *ahem*) we have had issues with these drives failing
after a few weeks of being hammered 24-7. Of couse the cheaper ibm disks
are meant for home/pleasure users who don't use their pc's for much more
than an ornament, and hence the cheap price for them i would imagine.
