Hi there,

I recently got a Laptop (Patriot 2410,bargin basement PC World Job) and have
spent the day trying to work out how to partition the disk so I can pop
RedHat 7.2 on.

The drive is 10GB and in NTFS, I tried FIPS2 but it does not like the NT
File Sys. As all my data is served from another box tried to use the
recovery disk hoping it would give an option to install with a FAT or VFAT
FS but, of course, it is an idiot proof 'Recovery Disk' rather than a true
XP disk.

I can not find anything on the web about splitting the disk.

Any suggestions would be very welcome

TIA

Mike
