Staff common room (L11.10) Livingstone Tower, Strathclyde University (

Street, Glasgow at 9:00 p.m.. Enter by Queen Street door. Look for the

The provisional programme for CIS Staff common room is a the usual Q&A 
session, Tool of the Month, and two talks titled "Grid Computing" and 
"Open Mail" and a free-format chat on matters Linux and computing.
These should be suitable for beginners and experts. Programme may be 
subject to variation.
So the early part of the evening will be at  CIS Staff common room 
(L11.10) from 7:30 p.m.. till 9:00 p.m. after which the meeting will 
reconvene at the Counting House.
Younger members and those not enamoured by the atmosphere of a public 
house can now participate on an equal footing as other members. Any 
suggestions for talks etc., or comments should be e-mailed to
