Which SuSE? and what hardware? SuSE 9.1 and 9.2 pro should recognise the floppy drive and most ethernet cards. Have you installed the updates? How did you configure the network? You will need to use Samba to use a printer on a windows machine - and is it a "real" printer or one that is designed to only work with windows. Do you intend to use the network for file sharing, printer sharing, routing external traffic, and or remote control?
