Red61 are a growing software development company, based in Edinburgh, specialising in live event ticketing. We are looking for a new full time member of staff to join the team as an IT Support person. Excellent communication skills and a passion for new technology are essential. Your role will be to maintain current systems and you will work closely with the Systems Architect to extend those systems and develop new ones. You will be part of a close knit team, but you will be self motivated with good diagnostic skills and have the confidence to take ownership of tasks and solve problems either directly or through delegation. You will provide IT and system support to customers and other members of the team and you will be joined by short term seasonal staff during key busy periods. Red61 clients include the Edinburgh and Brighton fringe festivals and the workload is therefore seasonal. Evening and weekend office work may be required during busy periods but working hours are flexible outside these times to take account of additional hours worked. Other Red61 clients who operate year round work outside of normal business hours and you will therefore be required to work on-call shifts which will be shared with other members of the team. The salary ranges from £20k to £25k depending on experience.
