Kurt T Stam commented on SCOUT-81:
----------------------------------
This is compile time generics only, so it will not affect runtime. Why would
you want to compile scout against the geronimo jaxr code? You can simply use
the compiled Scout jar no?
> jaxr-api cannot contain generics

> I tried to build scout against the geronimo jaxr api jar and it failed due to
> conflicts between the generified api and the non-generified api. Then I
> updated the geornimo jaxr api jar to include the generics and ran the tck
> signature tests. Unfortuneatley the generics cause failures.
> Unless there's been a jaxr spec update that allows the generic signatures and
> a corresponding tck update you need to rollback the generic interfaces before
> releasing.
